Basil Linalool essential oil is steam distilled with origins in India, but can also be found throughout Asia and parts of Africa. It is a member of Lamiaceae family; a small shrub that grows from 30-130 cm tall with leaves that are a lighter shade of green.
Basil Linalool is known today as the "King of Herbs", and got its name from ‘Basileus’, a Greek word for ‘King’. During significant ceremonies, kings were often anointed with basil. The lively green leaves and modest white flowers of the Basil plant can be found as staples in herb gardens around the world thanks to its deliciously spicy taste that adorns pastas, pizzas, soups, and more. It’s from this beautifully aromatic plant that Basil Linalool Essential Oil is created, which imparts the familiar spicy green scent that stimulates the mind and body.
Use it to combat fogginess and lack of focus, especially when you are under the weather. The fresh, strongly herbaceous scent naturally stimulates the mind and fights fatigue. Great for supporting the digestive system, Basil Linalool can help comfort upset, cramping, or gassy stomachs. It can also help loosen up tense muscles brought on by daily stressors.
